Your name is Cate and boy are you frustrated. Killing imps only helps so much too. Right now that's exactly what you're doing though. Killing as many imps as you can get your hands on.

You really haven't been paying attention to time since you entered this new session but you have been thinking a lot. Mostly about your family and teammates. Your family is dead and your teammates are as good as dead. What's making you so angry? You feel responsible for all the bad things that have happened, even though that makes no sense. Oh well. You find killing imps a little relaxing. You should probably get some new weapons though. These ones aren't very strong.

You might want to get some interaction with something other than imps too. Who knows. You might go crazy otherwise.

You are entirely unamused with the current situation. This is not exactly something you are foreign to, because you spend much of your time completely unamused with a great deal of things, but this perhaps wins, which is saying a lot given what had just happened to you before you ended up here.

But now you are precariously balanced on a glass platform, soaked to the skin and trying not to get struck by lightning, and with a headache from reading the backlog. Plus everything else.

You don't really want to talk to anyone, but you might as well, since you're stuck here with them for the foreseeable future. It is only the sensible thing to do.

[The planet's entrance is the gates, a soft blue light surrounded by a tower of house. Galeru’s house seems to provide the only light around, leaving the area outside of its glow almost impossible to see through.



This land is shrouded in eternal night and its surface is covered by a layer of water an inch deep, reflections appearing more like shadows in the faint starlight. The endless flat plains are broken only by large, empty channels and a few great, solitary islands of limestone. Upon close inspection, these monoliths appear to be the source of the water and are where the planet’s very shy, but very territorial crayfish consorts can be found. There is an overwhelming sense of emptiness and silence.

The only way you're going to find anything, it seems, is to get down and explore.]
