This is not exactly something you are foreign to, because you spend much of your time completely unamused with a great deal of things, but this perhaps wins, which is saying a lot given what had just happened to you before you ended up here.
But now you are precariously balanced on a glass platform, soaked to the skin and trying not to get struck by lightning, and with a headache from reading the backlog. Plus everything else.

You don't really want to talk to anyone, but you might as well, since you're stuck here with them for the foreseeable future. It is only the sensible thing to do.
