You trail off as his fingers close around your neck, shivering at his fangs against your skin. A part of you thinks this is wrong, this is not the right time to be doing anything like this and something could come across them at any minute, given how unfamiliar this place still is.

All the same, your hands clench and unclench as you try to will some composure to yourself, even though you doubt it'll last long. You chuckle softly, chest rumbling.

Instead of responding first, you let out a low hiss at the teeth against your neck, invoking a feeling that tingles beneath your skin and spreads until your whole body is on edge. Damn, that's going to be there for a while. You guess you'll worry about it later.

As his thumb brushs along your lip again, you dip your head just enough to catch it between your teeth and bite down lightly in retaliation, not enough to break the skin but enough to get the message across, before you reach up with your free hand to draw his away and lace your fingers together. Your voice comes a bit thickly and short of breath despite your efforts.

You roll your eyes but laugh when he bites your thumb, wriggling your fingers at him even though it looks silly when your hands are locked together. Once he's got his arm around you, you lean over and peck him on the cheek, wondering if he realises how heady he's left you but choosing not to dwell on it as you settle against him.

You let out a soft, appreciative sigh and close your eyes when he kisses you back, smiling. Maybe you are feeling coy, but as much as you want, there's still that uneasy feeling somewhere in your stomach over being in an unfamiliar, hostile environment, even after having been here for as long as you have. Your vascular organ just isn't into it, ruining your mood even when you try - and, you admit, it sucks.

And it's not like you don't know how it affects Ridian, being how he is. The thought is accompanied with a hint of guilt, especially when he looks at you. You wonder if he sees it in your eyes for a second, before you shift closer to lean your head against his while you loop your arm around his waist.
