(no subject)

[There is a rumble throughout all the planets, and a series of strange flashes, green, white, and red, throughout the sky.

All about the lands, strange things will appear, scattered about- Imps with strange prototypings, or consorts from Lands that never came to this session. They look just as confused about it as you.

From the Land of Frost and Fire, a much larger light easily visible from anywhere else in the session builds up. There are short bursts of deep purple, and defying all comprehension, black light, from it as well. But before too long, without much fanfare, it all simply fades away, leaving a ghastly darkness, and an enraged scream from a voice some in this session will know well.

Soon, both the darkness and the scream fade, leaving nothing past these strange new creatures to show it had ever happened. Except for one more thing: A troll girl has now left her hive in a highblooded rage, hunting through all of the gates. She has a large hunting spear, and is leaving a trail of monsters and consorts in her wake, as she seeks something stronger...]

(Boss fight post! Agnira is berserked and attacking everything mindlessly. Let me know if you want a character death or wounding or to get away completely unharmed, and enjoy the carnage!

And as a note, canon characters are now officially playable.)

From this distance, you can't see who it is but then it's hard to get a good look when your attention is taken up by a GODDAMN FIREBALL heading in your direction. Your STAFF is in your hand almost immediately, and as the consorts scatter with a great deal of commotion (or, more unfortunately, slip and fall into the raging waters below), you take off, the slippery glass aiding you while also leaving you a bit unsteady as you hope to get out of range.

> Durrin: Yell at your assailant.

Maybe it's one of the new underlings, but yelling makes you feel more productive.

bloody hell, mate, what's your deal!

> Durrin: Recognise your assailant.

agnira??

Watching her charge at you and remembering the scream from earlier, your dread only intensifies. It's been a long time since you've seen a highblood rage, let alone a seadweller - and unfortunately for you, the surface you're standing on is still plenty slippery.

But you're not going to run. You try to steady your footing on the glass, bringing your staff up and attempt to ram the butt of it into her stomach when she gets within range. No sharp ends yet, but ...

Now you're both sliding along the glass and you realise oh fuck if she gets you in the water, you are screwed, but your attempts to dig your heels into the ground are proving useless when there's nothing to dig them into so you quickly try and lean towards her to use the shift in weight to stop even though it's not really doing anything oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck that is a lot of rage. And teeth.

AGNIRA!
snap out of it!

You're startled when she attempts to yank your staff out of your hands, but thankfully you have enough of a grip on it to stop her from taking it away completely. Your brain is working in overdrive - you've had experience calming your matesprit's rages on occasion, but you can't be certain whether the same methods will work. Words certainly aren't. But you're willing to try.

You yank back with as much strength as you can muster while angling yourself to try to headbutt her into letting go.

> GOTTA THINK FAST.

There's not really much to think, really. She's been coming at you too fast and furious to get your bearings properly, and the terrain is barely helping. So you do the first thing that comes to mind, your body moving almost automatically as you bring your staff back, spin and wham the length of it into her side, hoping the momentum and the glassy surface will send her over the edge even as you slide a little yourself.

Using your staff to keep you steady, you carefully peer over the edge, hoping she doesn't simply jump out of the water like a goddamn swimming toothbeast and bite you. Something tells you she's not placated just yet - and sending her over the edge might not have helped with her mood.

You back away after a moment and, with a lot of slipping and sliding, hurry along to the nearest gate you can find, equiping your headset.

People need to know.

FUCK! You've been warned about those seadwellers. She catches you completely by surprise, distracted as you are trying to set up a new memo, leaving you with an armful of teeth (or rather her with a teethful of arm). The momentum makes you slip and sends you both tumbling, teal blood smearing all over the glass in a trail behind you. In the tussle, you lose your staff, and you fumble around trying to get a hand on the WRENCH in your back pocket while also trying to dislodge the girl from your arm ... somehow.

You roll out of the way, trying to keep weight off your ridiculously smarting and bleeding arm or at least trying to avoid getting it jabbed by your own staff. Somehow you manage to skid/slide to your feet, WRENCH in your other hand, and you hurl it at her head before making a break for it. No point retrieving your staff right now.

> ABSCOND, ABSCOND.

Already on it, bro, and you make a mental note that someone owes you a new staff when they come to their senses. God, you need to learn how to fight like a girl.
